³³ When the sixth hour had come, darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour. ^{[a] 34} At the ninth hour Yeshua cried out with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?”^[b] which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You abandoned Me?”^[c]

³⁵ When some of the bystanders heard it, they began saying, “Look, He’s calling for Elijah.”
